I passed my NICET II last month, and I just wanted to give some confidence to everyone else trying to take it. One thing that I was concerned by when I was studying is how all the material is geared towards NETA? There were a couple types of questions that were outliers, but I think some serious studying of the NETA material is just fine. I used this website for the weeks leading up to it, and like everyone else says, the practice quizzes are harder than the test. There was a good amount of digital questions that I wasn’t prepared for, and I imagine that was where the difference between NETA and NICET showed up, but overall there was maybe 3 questions like that total. I’d highly recommend the practice tests, quizlet flash cards, having a grasp of some common relays, etc. There was a bit of math, so parallel resistance calculations, power triangle, etc. I think if you’re genuinely trying to study, about 10-12 hours of studying throughout a week for at 2 weeks leading up to it, you’ll be fine.
